January 20, 2004 CareWorks reaccreditation story highlighted in URAC's national newsletter

CareWorks kicked off its URAC Case Management reaccreditation with a company wide awareness campaign entitled “Blast Off to Reaccreditation.”

The theme served as a daily reminder of CareWorks’ goal of being compliant with URAC’s national Case Management Standards and progress towards reaccreditation with the new version 2.0 standards.

Upon completion of the desktop review and just prior to the URAC onsite, CareWorks completed the final countdown for the reaccreditation process with a URAC Picture Day on August 26, 2003, including the actual “blast-off” of toy rockets to symbolically acknowledge their preparedness.

“Incorporating industry best practices and standards for case management strengthens the services Care Works provides as a company and requires the commitment of each and every CareWorks associate,” said William W. Pfeiffer, president and CEO. “This was a great way to celebrate our success!”
