To follow are basic instructions for the provider search feature, including general tips for conducting the best searches. To learn more visit www.careworks.com and click on the provider search icon. STEP ONE - VISIT WWW.CAREWORKS.COM. At the CareWorks Family of Companies page, click on the CareWorks logo to enter our site. Then, click on the provider search icon conveniently located in the lower left corner of the site to begin your search. First, select the provider network you wish to search, either Medical Mutual of Ohio's SuperMed Works network or the BWC-certified network. STEP TWO - ENTER SEARCH CRITERIA. The opening search screen will give you six different criteria to be used in your search, including: your zip code, provider type, provider name, city, county and distance in miles. Entering your zip code will prioritize search results based on the providers located closest to you. For best results, start your search with the specialty field blank and mile range set to 30. STEP THREE - REFINE YOUR SEARCH. If your initial search results in a large number of provider, narrow your search by using the back button and adjusting your criteria. Adjust the mile range to narrow your search to those providers closest to you. STEP FOUR - SEARCH RESULTS. Once you have refined your search, click on the provider name in your search results field to see detailed contact information, including address, city, state, zip and phone number. If you prefer, you can copy this text and paste it into a file of your choice, or print the results screens for your records.
